Photographing Yeyo’s In Bentonville for The Infatuation

Last summer, I had the opportunity to photograph Yeyo’s El Alma de Mexico in Bentonville for The Infatuation. If you’re familiar with the food scene in Bentonville, Arkansas, you know Yeyo’s is a beloved staple—serving up bold, authentic Mexican flavors with ingredients sourced straight from local farms.

A Visual Feast: The Dishes I Photographed

From tacos bursting with fresh flavors to vibrant salsas and beautifully plated mains, Yeyo’s dishes were not only a joy to shoot but also incredible to eat. Here are some standout dishes from the shoot:

  • Street Taco Sampler – Eight mouthwatering tacos, each layered with house-made salsa and fresh garnishes.
  • Elote – Traditional Mexican street corn, perfectly charred and seasoned. I’m still craving this over six months later!
  • Nopalito Plate – A delicious vegetarian dish featuring tender cactus, full of unique and satisfying flavors.
  • Dulce de Leche Banana Cheesecake – It’s cheesecake, so of course, it was amazing—rich, creamy, and unforgettable.

Shooting for The Infatuation: Capturing Bentonville’s Culinary Scene

Photographing for The Infatuation is always an exciting challenge. For this project, I captured images of seventeen restaurants in Bentonville, each with its own unique story and atmosphere. If you’d like to check out the full review, you can find it here.
