Vista House overlooking the Columbia River Gorge – Travel photographer

I took a trip to the West coast over the summer and I’m slowly editing through the images and adding them to my collection of stock photography.

One of the places we visited one morning was Vista House that overlooks the Columbia River Gorge. The view was amazing, and we decided to head out on a nearby ridge to try to take a few photos looking back at the house. Just writing about the ridge is starting to make my palms sweat again… I’m pretty terrified of heights and this was pretty steep on either side. I inched my way out and made a panoramic image of the area, and of my friend Wesley. It seems like hand-held panoramic images are becoming a favorite of mine.

After shooting at Vista House, we followed the Crown Point State Scenic Corridor and stopped at a couple of waterfalls including Multnomah Falls. I’m looking forward to working these images next and adding them to my blog! Please check back for more images Oregon and Washington.
