Contemporary Kitchen Interior

Last month I photographed the interior of a beautiful kitchen for a feature in AY Magazine. I really enjoyed listening to the owner talk about his long-standing friendship with interior designer Bruce Goff, with Domus Design Group, and the thought that went into the design and materials. I love that the he chose to make the largest area of the home the open space of the living room/dining room/kitchen.

The open space made it easy to move around and photograph different angles of the kitchen. It seems like I normally back myself into the corner while shooting home photography, but that was nearly impossible in this room. There was also a wall of large windows, and the abundance of natural light really complimented the cool mix of contemporary textures and neutral color choices.

The homeowner talked about how much he enjoyed entertaining, and I can only image how perfect of a space this is for company.
